So I wake up this morning excited that I will receive my pda today… so just for kicks I check the tracking info again.
And I discover that my package was sent back the USA. So that means my package has gone from USA -> Dubai -> Back the USA… and UPS has promised me that they will manage to deliver to the correct address time around.

I mean seriously WTF????

And the best part is, every UPS office passes the blame on to the next one. This is utter and complete bullshit.

I mean seriously how hard is it to run a logistics company (sarcasm)

A month ago, I ordered a few items from amazon to my ARAMEX address in NY. As Im overly paranoid about all orders I frequently check all my packages shipping status. Every day perhaps 3 times a day.

Now if any of you have seen how Amazon packages and labels its boxes one could find it difficult to imagine UPS fucking up the order and sending it to Jordan instead of Kuwait right? Believe me UPS manages to do just that and more.

In fact UPS not only completely ignored Amazons label, but also applied their own, a completely different name, different country, different shipping address. I can just see the UPS staffer in the mail room think “Oh what the hell, fucking terrorists are all the same, Kuwait or Jordan same difference, fucking towel heads, why dont they shop in their own fucking countries”

Soon as I noticed something was wrong (I had a gut feeling about it) I contacted Aramex US, and asked them to check the package again. So Aramex discovered after opening the Amazon package that it was indeed my name and shipping address, not some guy in Jordan.

You know theres something wrong with this world when Aramex becomes more reliable than UPS.

This time around I ordered a linux based phone, guess what… UPS fucks it up again… At least this time the package is in my name, but instead of shipping it to New York, like the label on the package clearly states… they ship it to kuwait with a Spring Fields Gardens New Yorker address.

So after talking to a few UPS staffers in Kuwait; some guy who answered the phone, and managed to transfer me to their “Tea Boy” and I quote “something something something Im the tea boy, the other guy is not here” ** I mean WTF why is the “Tea Boy” answering UPS phone?????? ** , and back again to the guy that transfered me in the 1st place. It was explained to me that my package is still in Dubai, and wont reach Kuwait till the next day…

Seriously UPS needs to get their act together… Next time round I’ll be sure to ship with DHL or Aramex dont mind paying extra so long as my package doesnt end up in Serbia with a Qurtuba or Jabriyah address.

Just the other day I was talking to my coworker about this, I was wondering when humanity was finally going to make progress in this field.
