I’m a complete logistics addict, and even have a Delivery Status widget installed on my mac. It keeps track of all my packages via Aramex, FedEx, Etc…. So I’ve noticed that one package shipped via USPS to Aramex NY (a new hard drive for my mac book pro) never made it to my Aramex in box. USPS Status says it was delivered. Aramex states it was not delivered.
So after 11 days of patient waiting (Actually I was too busy to worry about a hard drive, and really didnt have the time to argue with their staff) I decided to call Aramex in Kuwait (T: 820011) Ext:4 for shop & ship.
You know how they always mumble their names when they pick up the line, you miss it every time. I was talking to an Arab guy. And he calmly informed me that he will send Aramex US an E-Mail, and have them check up on my package. He promised that he would get back to me, to update me on the situation a day later.
Next day…. No one called. *sighs* typical….
So I call again, another Aramex Arab dude picked up (this time I wrote the punks name down), Smith (the names of the “GUILTY” have been changed to protect their identity). So smith tells me…
“yeah USPS right? They always loose stuff, they state packages are delivered but more often than not they arent. Its a government postal service… you know how that goes..”
And I was thinking… wtf are you talking about its the US PS not KWT PS.
Anyway… he promised hed update me the next day after sending an email. I was also informed that he could not find any details about my call the day before (They do have a trouble ticket system) But apparently the punk I spoke to the 1st time did not log my call.
The next day at work I had a *ding* (*light bulb*) moment, and I emailed ARAMEX US directly.
All of a sudden Aramex Kuwait calls me offering to refund the price of the shipment.
Bottom line is, the package was mis routed by Aramex USA. So it wasnt the US PS that fucked up.
I was told the package would be re-routed to me imediately.
Lets see how many days it will take them. And if they think Ill pay the shipment charges… they got another thing comming.

NLP is something that has been around for a very long time, for those nay sayers out there, trust me it works.
The fact that I even have the job that I do, is proof of that. Which idiot would hire Kismat anyway? (J/K I love my boss to bits)
