I cam acrross an interesting tool today called ZapReader, it basically trains you to speedread 400% faster without loss of comprehension. Pretty neat. Check out the video.

Ive tried so many browsers I lost count, but overall I can say that Firefox is the best browser I ever used.

I thought I might share some of the keyboard shortcuts I have grown to love with the rest of you Firefox users.

* Mac users replace CTRL with command(apple) key:

General

• CTRL + click : opens a link in a new tab
• CTRL + L : moves cursor to the address bar
• CTRL + K : moves cursor to the search bar
• CTRL + F : search the page
• /: quick search as you go

Note: This guide applies to all Mac OSX systems be it a laptop or a desktop.

In my previous post I mentioned that my MacBook Pro’s hard drive got toasted. And I pondered several ways of fixing it. In the end I’m going to play it safe, and recover the data the good’ol’fashioned way. And to save you the trouble, Im gonna show you how to do it, in case you ever have the need to.

Here is what you’ll need to pull this off:

1. Force Eject any mounted CD’s (Hold mouse button then power on)
2. An External USB Drive
3. Patience =)
