I am facing the exact same dilemma. I like the way the Reader looks but it doesn't even ship to Bermuda and Sony Connect doesn't work outside US/Canada. So it's out of the running.

I think the major issue is this: Are you going to using this device to study? Then the iLiad is the one for you. You can take notes, look up stuff online. I might even stop using my mac so much! And if you think about it 15 hr battery life is plenty man; when you sleep just put it to charge just like you do with your cellphone.

The Cybook is mac compatible and is a dedicated ebook reader. Also comes with Mobi preinstalled and is less than half the price. Can't make up my mind.

what did you decide on?

That's a bit old price you have there (it was for first n "protoypes"). The consumer price should be $940 for the A4 model... http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2008/07/fujitsu_flepia_ebook_priced.html

Not sure if all you want to do is read "books" though... A lot of my reading is RSS for example... I was leaning towards Iliad for bigger screen and WiFi but now it looks like it's soon we'll have something better and maybe should wait a bit for Fujitsu Flepia this fall...

Miika: I didnt choose, but if I really wanted an e-book reader now, Id certainly go for the Cybook. 3 weeks battery life got me sold. If i want an internet experience I can use my laptop. But really think about it. All you wanna do is read, not surf (you got your mobile for that or other device) KISS (keep it simple stupid).

Plus this could revolutionize the infamous bathroom reading material... aka pottie books. LoL
